Morocco Payroll & Employment Guide 2026

Regional Note: Morocco is francophone Africa's largest nearshore and outsourcing market. French is the operative language for all payroll, contracts, regulatory filings, and CNSS/DGI submissions (even though Arabic is the constitutional official language). Unlike Gulf countries, Morocco has NO expatriate exemption from social insurance: all employees (Moroccan and foreign) contribute at the same CNSS/AMO rates.
